Inside the Terrace
I’ve been coming here and shooting Bethesda Terrace for many years. All different kinds of weather, different times of year, time of day and gear. Photographing the terrace and fountain never seems to get old, let alone Central Park.
I shot this image in January, it was cold and there was light snow on the ground. I enjoyed the shoot a little more than most because there were very few tourists there to obstruct the view. During the summer this place is like an amusement park.
I almost called this shot “the other side” just because most photographers shoot out the other end of the terrace, where the fountain is visible. Also, I think the slight signs of aging and water damage give this particular shot a little character.
Below are links to a few more galleries and photography work I have on this site. I’m also happy to discuss commission work for specific photography you may be thinking about for your home or commercial space.
Additionally, I am available for professional and enviornmental headshot sessions if you need an update, or have never ventured into an alternative to the garden variety $19.95 portrait session.
My urban, street and “many other things” gallery is still under construction, so this portal doens’t link to anything, yet. I will be working hard to get this gallery populated, soon.
