The Longfellow Bridge rehabilitation project has been going on for about 5 years now, at a cost of more than a quarter-billion dollars. The bridge, formally dedicated in 1907 carries close to 30,000 cars a day.

It’s fantastic to finally see the completed facade and have a chance to photograph the bridge without construction materials everywhere. Here, I am shooting toward Cambridge, from the Boston side of the bridge, just a little ways down from the new pedestrian bridge over Storrow.
