Way out here in the harbor islands the view of the Boston skyline is always pretty awesome. I have shot Boston from out here more times than I can count over the years. It never gets old because you can certainly count on the sun, the clouds or both to sometimes provide an incredible view.
I always think I’ll never be able to reproduce the amazing sky, or clouds or sunset I am seeing from out there, but I do my best to at least get it close. This particular evening it was teasing for hours. I could never tell if the sun was going to just break out of the clouds for good, or it was going to open up and soak everything. There was a little bit of wind, but nothing too bad. This exposure was kept short so wind movement wouldn’t be a problem.
In the end the sky was just incredible with an amazing display of clouds like I had not seen in a pretty long time.
